What happens when two best friends share a common appreciation for any and all things makeup? Lots and lots of makeovers. Especially when one of them is an Independent Beauty Consultant and the other is gainfully employed by an extremely well known beauty supply store. Workplace aside though- our friendship has always been painted pretty with the different products and beauty tools that we've shared with each other over the years, and we're always stumbling across something new to share with the other.
We've both developed our own styles and preferences as we've gotten older, but the one thing that always holds true, is that there's no time like girl time, and while we don't think either of us can claim the title of professional beauty guru- we've logged enough makeup hours between the two of us to make Helen of Troy's stylist bend at the knees and admit defeat.
The idea behind this blog has been building for years, and between the men in our lives making jokes about the sheer amount of beauty products residing on and in our bathroom counters, and the dreadful need for a good excuse to feed our shopping addictions- it just makes sense to start recording our finds to share with the rest of the world. Product reviews in abundance are the one thing we can definitely agree on posting here, but as this blog matures I'm foreseeing plenty of how-to videos, as well as some good old fashioned girly gossip and advice. Who knows? Maybe we'll help somebody find a new favorite product, or even help somebody out there feel more beautiful. No matter where this goes though, we're going to enjoy doing it, makeup and friendship is a recipe for success after all.
